Come to this peaceful location near Worcester for in-depth study and practice of a pure and authentic Tai Chi and Qigong system.
We shall be exploring three of the foundational principles of Taiji 37 and Taijiwuxigong: connecting with Earth, opening the channels, and activating the Dantian.
Taiji 37 is a Taijiquan (tai chi chuan) style that originates from the 'Nanpai' tradition, consisting of a set of standing postures.
Taijiwuxigong is a set of exercises that were developed from Taiji 37, that involve movement, breath, sound, and meditation.
Taiji 37 and Taijiwuxigong exercises gently liberate the mind and body of tension, resulting in feelings of peace and happiness.
Moreover, through the generation of spontaneous movement, these exercises facillitate rapid development of 'empty force'.
Beginners and experienced students are very welcome.
Please come prepared to do some exercise; wearing warm, loose-fitting clothes, & flat-soled shoes (eg 'plimsoles').
Make sure you have eaten a good breakfast before you arrive, and bring a packed lunch.
Hot drinks will be available, but do bring your own water to keep hydrated throughout the day.
